Brandie Allan is a self taught artist that finds creativity in almost every aspect of her life. Inspired by all types of art as a child she introvertedly spectated most of her youth. Developing an eye for things before putting it into practice. Beginning her practice later in life at 26 she began working a process with glass called "slumping" This is the process of heating glass until it melts into a different shape. Using panels of flat glass she created designs in materials able to withstand heat and lay the glass on top. Glass art gave her a creative explosion and from there she began painting with aerosol and put over 150 ft wall on her property to paint murals. In the winter months she sticks to glass and canvas.
